All of you know the calm, serene, quiet atmosphere that is Indah Health+Beauty Spa, right?
Well, last weekend was the Indah Christmas Party, and let me tell you, it was anything but calm, serene or quiet!
We all managed to sneak out of the Spa a little earlier than usual on Saturday to head down to the Fisherman’s Wharf and jump aboard Grandpa Indah’s boat, The Zelindo, for an evening on the ocean.
As we cruised around, we were all feeling a little bit fancy! Grandpa, or should I say, Captain Indah, anchored us up opposite the Yacht Club where we could have some drinks and nibbles to celebrate another successful year at Indah.
To help with the celebrations, Eminence Organics had kindly provided us with some beautiful champers to congratulate us all on a wonderful year. Simone and Holly had also organised an impressive spread of yummy snacks to enjoy as well.
(Sidenote: glacé cherries wrapped in bacon – A South African delicacy = DELICIOUS!)
Stacey stood in for Santa (who was apparently a little busy) to hand out the Secret Santa presents. We all ended up with some lovely gifts, and by the end it wasn’t really a secret who bought each gift. Tip for next year girls – Make sure you put the recipient’s name on the pressie!
As well as a celebration, this was also a farewell to our gorgeous Spa Assistant Allysa, who is headed off to Uni in Perth next month. We will all miss her bubbly antics around the Spa and wish her the very best in her next chapter.
As the evening drew to a close, we headed back to the wharf. Some chose to head back home to bed, while others continued the celebrations on until the wee hours, but it’s fair to say each and every one of us had a great time!
We really are a very lucky bunch to call Indah our workplace!
Thanks Tess and Mat!
